Mini-face lifting – anti-aging intervention
We have reached the times where we look forward to tomorrow and do not value the present moment, forgetting to live in the moment. And look like that, slowly, slowly, time passes and leaves its mark on us, with small expression lines and small imperfections, which we want to fade.
Anti-aging aesthetic procedures are divided into 2 categories: minimally invasive (performed with hyaluronic acid and/or botox) and surgical – which involve the removal of excess tissue from the face. The category of these procedures also includes the mini-face lift .
At the Legacy Med clinic , we find the optimal treatment methods for our patients, according to their needs, in order to benefit from the most beautiful results.
What is mini face lift?
The mini-facelift is a surgical procedure, addressed to patients over 35 years old, who want a rejuvenated appearance of the skin, with a permanent effect. The intervention is also in great demand in our country, in recent years, due to the natural rejuvenating effect, but also the quick recovery, compared to the classic facelift.
The mini-facelift intervention is performed under anesthesia, to ensure the patient’s comfort during the entire duration of the operation. Once the anesthesia takes effect, the doctor will remove the excess tissue and make small stitches, in the areas close to the ear, so that the patient is not left with unsightly marks or scars.
The entire operation takes between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the patient’s needs and the complexity of the case.
After the intervention, the patient will remain for a short period of time under medical supervision, to ensure that everything proceeds in the best conditions, and then, with the consent of the specialist, he can go home, where he will gradually resume his activities after a short recovery period (about 1-2 weeks).
Mini-face lift: What should the patient know before and after the operation?
Mini-face lifting, even if it is a relatively simple intervention, we are still talking about an operation, which requires a set of simple but effective rules that the patient must follow both before and after the procedure.
Before the intervention the patient must:
He gives up/reduces the number of cigarettes a lot (if he is a smoker).
Avoid the consumption of alcohol or drugs (if he is undergoing treatment, it is necessary to talk to the doctor about this aspect beforehand).
To hydrate properly, and a few hours before the operation to avoid eating food.
After the operation, the patient will be under observation, and later, when he can go home, he must take into account the medical recommendations and comply with the following rules:
When lying in bed, try to keep your head slightly elevated.
Avoid hot baths or saunas.
We recommend that you stop intense physical activities (sports training).
Moisturize properly and do not apply cosmetic products to the newly treated area.
